Soon, Dominique’s first plan was put to action.

‘Come on, Jacky! Enough with your nails! Nothing will make them look like mine anyway, so why bother?’ Dominique demanded. ‘We have to get this done perfectly so we don’t get caught!’

Dominique was standing by the wall near the toilet. She knew Sarah always went to the toilet before attending classes and was going to take advantage of that information.

When nobody was looking, Dominique turned to Jacqueline and Gwendolyn, ‘Go on! And be quick; she’ll be here any minute!’

In a flash, Jacqueline and Gwendolyn rushed to the toilet doors and changed the signs. The girls’ toilet sign to the boys’ and the boys’ to the girls’. Due to her lack of stay, Sarah still didn’t know which the girls’ toilet was and which were the boys’.

‘She’s coming! Come on, Gwen, Jacky!’

Jacqueline and Gwen hurried back to Dominique’s place. Jacqueline took a look at her nails and exclaimed, ‘Oh, look! I broke a nail! Nikki, why didn’t you go and exchange the signs?’

‘Your nails are not nearly as precious as mine, silly, of course the one that needs protection are my nails!’ Dominique made Jacqueline sound stupid.

Sarah walked towards the toilets and Dominique hushed Jacqueline before she ruined their cover. Sarah looked towards the signs, gave one puzzled look, and walked into the toilet with the girls’ sign.

‘Err… Sarah, what are you doing in the boys’ toilet?’

The next thing Dominique and the others heard was a shrill, high-pitched scream that of course, belonged to Sarah. The boys’ toilet door opened and Sarah ran out of the room, in tears.

‘Mission-accomplished,’ Dominique gave a cheerleader smirk to her allies.
