Suicidal Part 3

When Denise heard of the “Unlucky Accident”, as Sarah had put it, Denise knew it was no accident that the signs flew to the other’s place. She knew it was the work of Dominique and her friends. She confronted them in class, when Sarah had gone to another toilet.

‘I know you were the ones who changed the toilet door signs, Dominique,’ Denise emphasized on Dominique’s name. ‘Can you just quit picking on Sarah? Her fragile mind can’t take your stupid tricks.’

‘She has a mind? Well, I’m surprised,’ Dominique snickered. ‘Listen, Carters, you just mind your own business and butt out of ours. We know what we’re doing.’

‘No, you don’t. Dominique, you’re going to regret you ever picked on her. For calling her “Ugly Duckling” and “Timid-rella”,’ said Denise, glaring at Dominique.

‘We’ll do what we want, and nobody will care. It was just a little joke for Sarah. I bet Sarah will look through that memory in the future and laugh at herself for being silly,’ said Gwendolyn.

‘The only ones that are being silly are you three idiots,’ Denise snarled.

‘Buzz off our case, Carters, unless you want us to pick on you too?’ Gwendolyn threatened.

Denise hesitated for a second, gave Dominique one last glare and turned to walk towards her own table. She doubted Dominique took her advice because she was sure nothing could enter a lunatic’s skull when her mind was made up.

On the other hand, Dominique was determined to get back at Denise through Sarah. She was going to hurt Sarah to hurt Denise. She knew Denise had no friends other than Sarah because nobody really understood Denise like Sarah did. Denise shared one common thing with Sarah, and that was her personality. Denise was also quiet and timid, but not as much as Sarah. However, that was enough for Sarah to consider as a friend.

At class, Dominique planned her next move with Jacqueline and Gwendolyn.
